Before any vehicle reaches our forecourt or website, it goes through two separate checks — a physical inspection, and an HPI history check. We publish what we find, not just what sells.
Multi-point inspection
- Engine, gearbox and clutch operation
- Brakes, suspension and steering
- Tyres, including tread depth and condition
- Electrics — lights, battery, charging system
- Bodywork, glass and interior condition
- Full diagnostic scan for stored fault codes
HPI history check
- Outstanding finance
- Previous write-off or salvage history
- Reported stolen
- Mileage discrepancies against the vehicle's history
If a vehicle has a flagged history — like a previous write-off, repaired and roadworthy — we say so on the listing rather than leaving it for you to discover later. It's the same reason every listing shows its HPI and inspection status up front, not buried in the small print.
